History In My Hometown-Print Only

from 25.00

Smuggler's Cove got its name from rum runners that were hiding alcohol in the cave from the US National Liquor Prohibition back in the 1920's. This has been one of my favorite places to come to when I was younger. There's a set of stairs that go down to the rocky beach but is only accessible when the tide is low. Every time I visit my hometown, this is one of the first places I come too.

Location: Meteghan, Clare, Digby County, Nova Scotia, Canada.
